Preparing the manuscript: style and submission guidelines
Please note that the final manuscript should be formatted according to The Chicago Manual of Style (16th Edition, University of Chicago Press, 2010); using the notes and bibliography documentation system is encouraged. The first reference to a source should include full bibliographic information; subsequent references to the same source use a shortened form. For a summary of the citation conventions and sample citations, please see the "Chicago-Style Citation Quick Guide" available at http://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/tools_citationguide.html.
The following layout conventions should be followed in the preparation of the manuscript:
- 12-point type with double spacing (2.0) throughout the manuscript (including notes and bibliography);
- margins of at least 2.5 cm on all sides;
- notes to be formatted as footnotes.
The manuscript should be submitted in MSWord (*.doc) and PDF (with fonts embedded) formats to tucemems-editorialboard[at]utu.fi
Please note that no manuscript should be sent to the Editorial Board unless it is based on an accepted proposal. See Guidelines for submitting a book proposal
